Cornelius Lafayette is currently one of the most sought after new faces in the fashion industry today. Working within the field of Creative Direction, his conceptual mastermind and visual innovation has afforded him the opportunity to travel abroad and work with a few well respected names in the industry; Sabina Schreder, Jenke Ahmed Tailly, Anna Trevelyan and Patti Wilson.
His career started in 2010 as a Trend Forecasting and Brand Strategy Intern for Jasmine Takanikos Consulting Group in New York. Within a week he also began working with Jeanine Pesce for WGSN as a Trend and Color Forecasting Intern for Active Sportswear. Lafayette has also contributed to the success of TOPSHOP TOPMAN's first U.S. flagship location of visual conception and installation for the company as Creative Manager.
Today Lafayette continues to focus on widening his view and perception of fashion artistry. His mission is not to be labeled as a "Stylist" , but to ultimately be respected for his visionary creative direction. The qualities that set him apart are undeniable, but his ability to deliver time and time again are a true testament of his talent.
