Working within the field of Creative Direction, his conceptual mastermind and visual innovation has afforded him the opportunity to travel abroad and work with a few well respected names in the industry; Sabina Schreder, Jenke Ahmed Tailly, Anna Trevelyan, Garth Spencer, Paul Sinclaire, Sophia Neophitou and Patti Wilson.
His career started in 2010 as a Trend Forecasting and Brand Strategy Intern for Jasmine Takanikos Consulting Group in New York. Within a week he also began working with Jeanine Pesce for WGSN as a Trend and Color Forecasting Intern for Active Sportswear. Lafayette has also contributed to the success of TOPSHOP TOPMAN's first U.S. flagship location of visual conception and installation for the company as Creative Manager.
